It is a given fact that we all have secrets. All kind of secrets. There are the ones that make you laugh, the ones you want to share with someone, those that make you angry or sad (or both), those that you will never tell anyone. Small, big, funny, weird … they’re all there.
Sometimes, while looking at people’s faces, I find myself wondering wondering what lies behind the happy, straight, sad mask. What’s their story? What gets him/her going, paralysed by fear, laugh, cry? I know most of them will never tell it. Or at least they wouldn’t tell it to me. It’s just a matter of trust. While there’s no bound between us I can’t expect anyone to be open. And even so, there’s no guarantee in that.
This isn’t about finding someone else’s secret. It’s about understanding and helping. But how can you do that? What’s the key to his/her heart?
Everyone has a secret. What’s yours?
